A new Olare- Aja (Oldest Man) of Ode-Itsekiri community in Warri South Local Government Area, Pa. Johnson Inomiebioritse Gbenebitse, have been presented.

 

Pa. Gbenebitse in his acceptance speech, thanked God for giving him the grace and appreciated Ode-Itsekiri people for their show of love as well as the privilege to serve as the Olare-Aja.

 

He solicited for maximum support from   youths, women and elders of the community, to enable him move Ode-Itsekiri forward.

 

While thanking the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli, for his love and role in attracting development to Ode-Itsekiri as well as sending his Chiefs to witness the presentation, Pa. Gbenebitse commended the member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Chief Thomas Eteyitomi for coming to celebrate him.

 

 

The Principal of Dore Numa College, Warri, Comrade Dimas Ejoh described the emergence and installation of the new Olare-Aja as historic to the Gbenebitse family and Warri Kingdom.

 

Comrade Ejoh, who is the grandson of Pa. Gbenebitse, appealed to companies to invest in Ode-Itsekiri, describing the community as very peaceful and good for business to thrive.

 

 

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Uwangue of Warri, Chief Gabriel Awala, Chairman of Ode-Itsekiri Management Committee (Big Warri Community) Chief Patrick Yalaju & Warri South Council  Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Comrade Douglas Akambe were among prominent persons that graced the installation.
