A Section of the abandoned Atiba FM Station Building

Weeds and reptiles, have reportedly taken over the abandoned Atiba FM station building located at Bashorun Area of Oyo State, due to inability of the Ajimobi administration to complete the project, initiated about four years ago.

Investigation by Our Oyo State Correspondent, revealed that apart from the over- grown weeds, residents of the area are also afraid of passing through the range, due to fear that the abandoned structure could be hiding abode for criminals.

The lawmaker representing Oyo East /Oyo West Constituency in Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Muideen Olagunju, had lamented the state of the project and others in Oyo.

He also called on the immediate past Abiola Ajimobi led administration in the state to ensure the project was completed before the expiration of the tenure in May 2019.

Some Influential indigenes of the state, who spoke to Fresh Angle International Friday August 30, on condition of anonymity, berated the Ajimobi administration, “for its nonchalant attitude towards the project”.
