Omatseye steps down for Ereyitomi 24 hours to APC primary

Barely 24 hours to the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primary, Capt. David Omatseye, has reportedly stepped down for Chief Thomas Ereyitomi. 

Capt. Omatseye, who had extensively consulted with some APC leaders in Warri Federal Constituency, indicating interest to contest for the coveted seat in the 2027 polls, reportedly stepped down Friday May 15, for the incumbent Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Chief ( Dr.) Thomas Ereyitomi.

There had also been speculations that Promise Lawuru of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government, had dropped from the race, leaving Chief Ereyitomi and Dr.. Ekpoto Ekpoto Emmanuel  to slug it out in the APC  primary slated for tomorrow, Saturday May 16.
