Delta State Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming 2015 polls, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru says the Akulagba of Warri Kingdom and frontline Niger Delta activist, Chief Ayirimi Emami is not happy with ethnic bigotry in Delta State contrary to speculations.
Chief Ogboru made the declaration this evening when he led Sir Richard Odibo and horde of his supporters on a consultative visit to Chief Ayirimi Emami at the latter’s 911 Spot Bar, Ugbuwangue in Warri, Delta State.

The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate who noted that all Deltans are fed up with ethnic bigotry, blamed ethnic sentiment in the state on deprivation, stressing that what people desire in the state is equal opportunities.
Chief Ogboru who described Chief Emami “as one of his enemies”, said Chief Emami “is a very important figure in the area” hence he came to consult with him.
On the possibility of Urhobos in Delta Central splitting their votes between him and Olorogun O’tega Emerhor of the APC in the 2015 gubernatorial election, Chief Ogboru averred, “Urhobos know who Chief Great Ogboru is. They know who has the vote and who can win the election”.
In a brief chat with Newsmen, the Akulagba of Warri, Chief Ayirimi Emami, noted that Chief Ogboru came to see him as “a Chief in Warri Kingdom and not as a party man,” even as he quipped that his agitations “is about his people” and not personal interest.
