Fuel Crisis: Kachikwu’s Aide sues for patience from Nigerians

One of the newly appointed Special Assistants’ to Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the Honourable Minister of State For Petroleum Resources, Hon. Kenneth Efejuku has enjoined Nigerians to exercise patience with the Federal Government on the current fuel crisis, saying efforts are being made to address the challenge.

Hon. Efejuku, a pioneer member of Delta State Waste Management Board made the appeal Monday April 4 in Warri during a chat with Our Senior Correspondent.

He assured that they will give the necessary support to the Minister of State For Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu to ensure that PMS go round and products get to consumers at the regulated price.

The Delta State APC stalwart assured Nigerians of availability of fuel in few days as promised by the Honourable Minister and averred that he will synergize with the Department of Petroleum Resources with a view to making marketers comply with the Federal Government approved price of N86:50k per litre.

He commended Dr. Kachikwu for his ongoing reforms in the NNPC and for saving the country several billions of naira which would have gone for payment of subsidy, expressing optimism that the funds will be channeled towards infrastructural development.
