UEFA EURO 2016: Four ‘New Stars’ to watch out for
UEFA EURO 2016

As the world looks forward to UEFA EURO 2016 billed for June to July, after a surprising Barclays Premiership 2015/2016 Season which produced an unlikely champion, Leicester City, Your Soar-Away International Tabloid previews four in-form ‘new stars’ likely to light up the European Showpiece coming up in France.

The tournament which will precede the 2016 RIO Olympics is expected to set the tone for more celebrated Super Stars to market themselves for bigger deals in the 2016/2017 season, but four strikers: Jamie Vardy, Anthony Joran Martial, Antoine Griezmann and Harry Kane caught the eyes of soccer followers around the globe in the just concluded European League season. We take a closer look on these quartets who are from England and France as Euro 2016 sets to commence.

Antoine Griezmann: This French born Athletico Madrid bullish hit-man, who formerly played for Real Sociedad in Spain, was a massive revelation in the 2015/2016 UEFA Champions League. Griezmann is technically gifted, has strong anticipatory skill, possess the ability to strike either from the wings or as a front man.

His recent performances for his club, Athletico Madrid makes him a valuable asset for France as they prepare to host their European counterparts. He will certainly form a deadly partnership with Anthony Joran Martial or Kareem Benzema, depending on the formation ‘Le Blues’ decides to use in each game.

Jamie Vardy: This 29-year old England born Leicester City prolific striker is by no means a young player, but his amazing strength , speed and technical dexterity was instrumental to ‘The Foxes’ winning the 2015/2016 Barclays Premier League against all odds. Jamie Vardy’s ability to score goals with his head, close and distant ranges, makes him an all-round conventional finisher expected to lead the strike force for England in France 2016. Depending on the formation the English National Team Coach will adopt in the month-long tourney, but a Diamond formation of Jamie Verdy, Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney playing behind both clinical finishers will be extremely deadly for opposing teams.

Anthony Joran Martial: This former Olympique Lyon and lately Monaco forward, who now ply his soccer trade with Manchester United is young, enterprising, strong and versatile.  Anthony Martial is a French International who has shown his ability to dribble past defenders, make deft touch passes to his team mates and shoot from all sides of the third quarter of the pitch.

The world is waiting to see him partner Antoine Griezmann, Kareem Benzema or any other French striker as they hope to host and win the June to July soccer showpiece.

Harry Kane: He was born in Chingford, England, measuring 1.88m (6f 2inches) tall and played for Arsenal from 2001- 2002. Harry Kane who contributed immensely to the elevation of Tottenharm Hotspur in England and Europe in the last two seasons, also had a stint in Watford in 2004. This England International is undoubtedly one of Europe’s hottest ‘properties’. Harry Kane is a perfect team player, scores almost breathlessly with his head as well as uses both of his legs to score even with half chances. Put it simply, Kane is one of Europe’s unsung deadly goal poacher, who England must feature prominently in the upcoming tournament if they desire to clinch the coveted trophy.
