Sir Onyeme gave the assurance at DBIR Headquarters in Warri, Delta State Thursday June 30 while commissioning seven new Toyota Hiace buses.

While disclosing that the buses were made possible by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who approved the purchase, the DBIR Boss added that it will be put to proper use for Tax Monitoring and Tax Auditing Unit members to enable them access all parts of Warri so as to ensure that income earners are tax compliant as well as remit accurate tax figures.

Fresh Angle International can also report that Sir Onyeme gave the nod to members of Christ Embassy Believers Love Word to distribute Free Rhapsody of Realities Devotional Bibles, noting that it is the beginning of partnership between DBIR and the church.

He tasked other churches to educate their members on the need to pay taxes regularly, stressing that it will enable government to provide the needed basic amenities, infrastructures as well as better standard of living.

Speaking on behalf of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Cleric in-Charge of Christ Embassy, Pastor Patricia Merryheart- Obi noted that over one million Rhapsody of Realities’ Devotional Bibles have been distributed worldwide by the church and stated that DBIR can do so much for Warri in particular and Delta State at large through revenue generation, backed with the word of God.

She admonished everyone to regularly study the word of God to discover God’s purpose and help others discover theirs, even as she quipped that fellowship with God will bring about success and achievement of God’s plan.

Our Correspondent reports that brief ceremony was attended by Peoples Democratic Party, PDP representatives from Delta Central, Hon. Solomon Ighrakpata and Delta North, Hon. Dave Owobike, as well as Secretary to the Board, Barr. Mike Edegware.
