The Chairman, House Committee on Environment in Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Augustine Tete has given assurance that he will improve on the Internally Generated Revenue profile of Warri South Local Government Area to avoid over-dependence on federal allocations if elected Chairman of Warri South in the forthcoming Delta State Local Government election.

The Lawmaker who is the present Councilor representing Ubeji Ward in Warri South Council Legislative Arm gave the assurance in an exclusive chat with Our Senior Correspondent at his Ubeji, Warri country-home.

Hon. Tete, businessman cum politician, stated that it was time for the rural area of Warri South Local Government to produce the next Council Chairman, hence his suitability as one who represents a rural ward in Warri, which hadn’t gotten the opportunity to occupy the Warri South Chairmanship position since the creation of the Local Government Area.

While promising to continue on the environmental sanitation legacy of the Hon.
