The corporate office of Fresh Angle International at Ugbuwangue in Warri, Delta State has been burgled, while three laptops containing sensitive files /documents as well as computer accessories were also carted away by the burglars despite the presence of Hausa men that usually sleep at the corridor of the office complex.

The incident seemingly occurred at the wee hours of Wednesday September 27 and was noticed when Our Office Assistant, Happiness Otache opened the office at about 8:00am for the usual clean-up that heralds daily operations.

Happiness Otache who noticed that three of the office laptops (one belonging to TACH WORLD TRAVO) were missing, discovered that the burglars broke into the office through a hole they burst open in the ceiling and ransacked the office.

They brought out one of the company's photo cameras and left it on top of the office desk for reasons unclear, even as evidence abounds that attempts were made to steal the office TV set, satellite TV decoders and modem.

The thieves, who are believed to be responsible for the stealing of an air conditioner from a neighboring restaurant in the same block couple of months ago, also raided a mini mart, Pick & Buy and made away with goods as well as cash worth about N200, 000.00

Owner of the mini mart, Mrs. Esther Otone, told Fresh Angle International that N67, 000.00 cash, recharge cards valued at N23, 000.00, body sprays, sets of provision and voltage stabilizer were stolen by the burglars.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the unknown thieves allegedly entered the office and the mini mart through an opening at the roof in one of the ends of the 11-shop building.

The 11-shop building accommodates a boutique, restaurant, barbing Saloon, technical workshop and lubricant shop.

Surprisingly, the burglars did not steal from the assorted drinks at the mini mart, thus fueling speculations that the Hausa men that usually sleep at the corridor of the building might be responsible for the theft.

As at the time of this report, the incident had been reported to the Police at ‘A’ Division Warri by Chairman of Ugbuwangue Community Vigilante with indications rife that investigation into the theft may have commenced.
