Former two -time President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor has directed members of his Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State, that don't have permanent voter's card, PVC to register in the ongoing INEC voters' registration.
Pastor Oritsejafor, a former PFN President who has been loud against the activities of Boko Haram and herdsmen, admonished members of his congregation to get their PVC no matter the political party they choose to belong.
The statement of the widely travelled preacher is coming barely a week after ex Nigeria's President, Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo advised Nigerians in an open letter to President Buhari, to form a coalition that will unseat the APC in the 2019 general polls.
In a related development, a pronouncement from Oritsejafor’s church, has directed members of the congregation not to eat cow meat from February 1, in protest against the increased onslaught of herdsmen against farmers across Nigeria.
The import of the directive which did not say when the protest will end, means members of the church will have to resort to eating goat meat, pork meat, chicken, fish and other sea foods while the protest will last.
