Leadership: APC stalwart lauds Buhari, party NEC for tenure extension

Stalwart of the All Progressive Congress, APC and candidate of the party in the April 2017 Warri South Constituency 1 By-Election, Prince Stanley Oritsemolebi Emiko has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and other members of APC Executive Committee “for the apt decision to extend the tenure of all elected officers of the (party's) working committees from the National to the local government level”.

According to Prince Emiko, the decision has saved the party from “so many unforeseen internal rancour and embarrassment”.

While congratulating the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie Oyegun and other members of the National Working Committee, NWC for the one year extension, Prince Emiko also rejoiced with “Delta State APC Chairman, Prophet Jones Ode Erue, members of the State Working Committee and all local government chairmen of the party, most especially the Warri South Local Government Area Chairman, Mr. Valentine Egbe”.

He charged them to use the one year extension to foster unity of party members, be more focused and work towards the progress as well as success of the party in the 2019 general polls.

The party chieftain in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International Wednesday February 28, admonished all members of the APC to cooperate with the reconciliation committee led by the party National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu “to enable him succeed in herculean task of resolving all internal differences in the party”.
