The National Chairman of Delta Political Vanguard, DPV, Hon. Michael Diden, member of House  Representatives and former Uvwie Council Chairman, Evelyn Oboro, Deputy Speaker of  Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Friday Osanebi ,Hon. Daniel Mayuku of Delta State House of Assembly, Secretary to Delta State Government, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Enekorogha, Delta State  Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan, Chief Frank Omare, Chief Solomon Arenyeka as well as the Chairmen of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi, Warri North, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu and Warri South-West, Hon. Taiye Duke Tuoyo, were among avid loyalists of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa that gathered at the Sand Field along Esisi Road, Warri, Saturday March 3 to adopt Dr. Okowa to run for second term as Chief Executive of Delta State.

National Chairman of DPV, Hon. Michael Diden, while addressing PDP faithful/supporters, recalled how they went round the state before the 2015 elections to canvass support for Dr. Okowa’s election as Governor and noted that it was time to canvass  for Dr. Okowa’s reelection, saying “Power belongs to the people”.

Delta State Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan mentioned the repair/resurfacing of the NPA By-Pass Road and award of contract for the reconstruction of Slaughter Road in Ugbuwangue Community, both in Warri South Local Government  Area as part of reasons why Okowa should be reelected as governor of Delta State.

Secretary to Delta State Government, SSG, Hon.Festus Ovie Ovie Agas assured that with the improvement from the monthly FAAC, Okowa will do more to better the lot of Deltans if given a second term mandate.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi in a remark, opined that there is now unity among Deltans because of Okowa’s leadership style, insisting Warri is now safe.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that a motion for the adoption of Governor Okowa for second term was moved by Hon. Daniel Mayuku and seconded by Chief Sylvester Oromoni.

Fresh Angle International can report that prominent Warri Chief and House of Representatives Hopeful in the forthcoming 2019 polls, Thomas Ereyitomi, immediate past PDP Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Mr. Amah Agbajor and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Political Matters, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru, Executive Assistant Political to Dr. Okowa, Dr. Emmanuel Imafiana were among PDP chieftains that attended the gathering.
