Foremost contender for Warri North Constituency seat in Delta State House of Assembly in the 2019 polls, Amb. David O. Atie has expressed excitement over the clearance of former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan as the sole candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC for Delta South Senatorial seat for next year’s election.
The House of Assembly hopeful in a terse statement made available to Fresh Angle International, described the decision of APC National leadership as apt and a testament of political strategy geared towards over- all success in the quest to ensure All Progressive Congress take over Delta State and align with the ruling party at the Federal level.
Amb. Atie called on Ijaws, Isokos, Itsekiris and others living in Delta South Senatorial district to rally support for Uduaghan’s Senatorial ambition, “because of his detribalized posture and antecedent of politics of peace building”.
He expressed optimism that the experience and political network of Dr. Uduaghan will be brought to bear in the resolve by the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole National leadership of APC to take over Delta State Government House in 2019.
