Re-election of Kachikwu as President of APPO good omen for Nigeria - Eriyamremu
Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, President, African Petroleum Producers' Organization (APPO) and Council of Ministers of APPO, at its 36th Ordinary Session, held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea


 

An opinion leader from Ofuoma Oil Producing Community, Afiesere Oilfield, in Oil Mining Lease OML30, Ughelli North Local Government Area in Delta State, Mr. Chris Eriyamremu, says the re-election of Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as President of African Petroleum Producers' Organization, APPO is good omen for Nigerian. 

                                

Fresh Angle International can report that Kachikwu was re-elected for third time as the President of African Petroleum Producers' Organization, APPO Tuesday April 2, at the 36th Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of APPO, held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea under the high patronage of H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Equatorial Guinea.

Eriyamremu, a Peace Mediator and Leadership Consultant, in a statement yesterday at Ughelli, said " the Nigerian Minister of State, Kachikwu got a renewed mandate to enable him actualize the ongoing reforms and restructuring of the Organization, which I consider a demonstration and affirmation of absolute confidence in Nigeria's commitment to the development of Africa. 

 

" the plan by the African Petroleum Producers' Organization APPO, led by Kachikwu to mobilize over $2 billion in resources to fund infrastructural and develop the hydrocarbons sector in Africa is a laudable initiative, and I implore governments of members countries to give adequate and required supports to APPO to achieve  this dream for Africa".

 

The APPO's member countries are Nigeria, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Libya, Niger.
