Kogi on the verge of losing Eagles’ Coach, others

Kogi State is set to lose head coach of the Super Sand Eagles, Audu Ejo Adamu, a host of other top coaches as well as athletes after they have been termed ‘un-cleared workers’ and advised to retire from the civil service system, Our Kogi State Correspondent reports.

Ejo who placed 2nd at the just concluded Africa Beach Soccer Championship is among the 45 un-cleared workers at the Kogi State Sports Council.

Seychelles had reportedly offered Coach Ejo a lucrative deal, but he turned down the offer due to the love for his fatherland.

It will be recalled that the Super Sand Eagles gaffer won the first edition of the CBN Beach Soccer Event held in 2013.

Fresh Angle International also gathered that other coaches not cleared by the Kogi State Screening Review Committee are: Head Coach Table Tennis, Friday Abah and Handball Head Coach, Philip Peter, while athletes such as Blessing Itodo, Philip Momoh and Nwadei Christopher suffered the same fate.
