Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru says the expansive road network being constructed across Delta State by the Okowa administration will last for more than 50 years “due to the quality of materials being used and the right supervision”.

The Governor’s Aide who made the declaration Thursday March 23 in Warri shortly after Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa inspected on-going works at Okere-Ugborikoko Road as well as Phase II of the Internal Roads in Otor-Orere, Okere-Urhobo in Warri South Local Government Area, expressed gratitude to “Governor Okowa for the transformation of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom”.

Mr. Opuoru, the immediate past Commissioner, Special Duties, DESOPADEC, stated, “the people of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri are very grateful to the governor. The reception during the site inspection was very massive and I’m particularly enthralled that our amiable and hardworking Governor took time out of his tight itinerary to visit the Okpako Orere of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Pa. Dickson Eburu. It shows the love and respect Governor Okowa has for the elderly as well as traditional institution”.

He assured Deltans, especially people of Warri South Local Government Area that Dr. Okowa was poised to transform Delta State in terms of infrastructure amid the current economic crunch.
