Delta State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Elvis Ayomanor, has congratulated Dr. Cairo Ojougbo, on the extension of the tenure of the IMC of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Engr. Ayomanor, in a statement released through his Personal Assistant, Tim Oamen, also appreciated the Hon. Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio and President Buhari, “for their wisdom to extend the IMC's tenure to ensure proper accountability and responsibility.”
The APC Chairman, used the opportunity, “to thank Dr. Ojougbo for the good work he is doing as the EDP.”
He admonished all well-meaning Deltans and Niger Deltans as a whole, to join hands with the IMC, “for proper development of our land, instead of this pull him down syndrome that has eaten deep into the fabrics of some people.”

The Chairman expressed deep disappointment in some Deltans, “who were all over the social media, castigating their very own, Dr. Cairo Ojougbo, who has done so much to see that Delta gets a fair share of the NDDC developmental strides”, even as he advised, “such persons to turn a new leaf and support the NDDC and the Minister of Niger Delta, H.E Akpabio to allow God's will for our land.”
