The Chairman House Committee on Trade and Investment in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru, has congratulated Wife of Delta State Governor, Dame (Mrs.) Edith Okowa, on the occasion of her 59th birthday celebration today, Monday June 1, describing her as mother to Deltans, particularly disadvantaged people.
Hon. Opuoru, opined that the various health - care and underprivileged support programmes of Mrs. Okowa, through her 05 Initiative, have greatly impacted ordinary citizens in the state and underscore the First Lady's resolve to uplift the well - being of Deltans.
He prayed God to continually endow Mrs. Okowa with good health, long life and prosperity.
