Warri based legal practitioner, rights’ activist and development consultant, Barr. Robinson Ariyo says he hopes his political story will be that of Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State.
Barr. Ariyo who was responding to a question of how he intends to tackle electoral malpractices and violence should he eventually contest the Warri South Constituency I seat in Delta State House of Assembly in the 2015 polls, said he intends to launch a one-on-one grassroots campaign, even as he noted that the electoral act criminalizes campaign before the period of 90 days to an election.
The legal practitioner who is also the National Coordinator of Volunteers for the Protection of Itsekiri Rights, VPIR posited that Warri South Constituency I ought to have recorded a fairer impact on the lives of its people considering the resources at the disposal of the state.
Barr. Ariyo whose political development alternative is christened “Change We Can Trust” outlined four ways by which representation of Warri South Constituency I can be done better.

According to him, the way forward for the constituency lies in periodic interactions between the masses and the representative, creating a regime of value of proposition that will open up the development space for corporate organizations, having a deliberate building and development of partnership with foreign development organizations in addressing the socio-economic needs of the area as well as making projects and programmes research based.
