With growing fears over crime and reports of unfinished stadiums, many think Brazil is not prepared to host the world’s biggest football tournament.

But try telling that to the country’s sex workers, who are prepping for the influx of foreigners by brushing up on the international language of love. Which in this case happens to be English?

In a classroom in Belo Horizonte, Igor Fuchs teaches prostitutes basic words, like days of the week, as well as phrases that would make a soldier in Saigon blush.

With over 600,000 foreigners expected to visit the country when the event kicks off June 12, some are expected to take advantage of the country’s oldest profession – especially if they crash out on penalties in the last 16.

Although punters shouldn’t worry about turning their World Cup ticket into a court case, as prostitution is legal in Brazil.
