The people of Aladja Community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, have condoled with the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on the death of his father, Pa Arthur Okorie Okowa at the ripe age of 88.
In a statement signed by President of Aladja Community, Elder Otto Ogbiruveta on behalf of the entire Aladja people, the community expressed sadness over the
‘’irreplaceable loss of your father but we take solace in the fact that your father was a God fearing individual. We therefore pray for the repose of his soul in the bosom of the Almighty God’’.
The community, which is host to the Delta Steel Company in Delta State, urged Governor Okowa and the rest of the children to continue to build on the example of hard-work, patriotism and selfless services for which the late Pa Okorie Okowa was known for in mentoring generations of children who passed under his tutelage as a teacher for several decades before retirement.
‘’Please, accept our condolences for this loss. May Almighty God comfort you, your family and the entire people of Delta State, and also grant the fortitude to bear this loss and to remain steadfast’’, the statement added.
