A Warri Federal Constituency Hopeful in the forthcoming 2015 elections, Barr. Alero Ogbemi Barlow has promised that she will encourage opportunities beyond oil if elected to represent the good people of Warri Federal Constituency.
Barr. Barlow made the promise recently during a consultation visit to a foremost PDP and community leader in Warri North, Pa. E.K. Gbaragada at his private residence in Sapele.
She promised that if given the mandate she will initiate laws that will benefit the people, encourage free and advance education through her partners in foreign countries and make sure people are empowered through Arts and Culture.
Barr. Barlow cautioned against sending the “wrong people” to Abuja, declaring that if they do that they will continue to be unhappy.
In his remark, Pa. E. K. Gbaragada assured Barr. Alero Barlow that He will “carry her matter on his head” by making sure he “brings her in”.
Pa. E.K. Gbaragada also known as Okiapelle said, “If she is there, I am there, some contestants do not have the experience Barr. Alero have gotten”.
Barr. Alero Barlow campaign team also visited another PDP leader of Egbema Ijaw block of Warri North, a former Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Dio Tanga as well as other leaders of the area at Hon. Tanga’s residence in Sapele, where she disclosed her intention to run for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the 2015 election.
She told them that she is a peace ambassador who believes in the community, ward and grassroots level .
Hon. Dio Tanga appreciated Barr. Barlow for the visit and told her that she has started well. The Warri North PDP Egbema leader urged the House of Representatives hopeful to use her position if elected to attract investors to the area in order to create employment for the people. He also assured her of his support and promised to mobilize support for her.
In his remark, the General Coordinator of Alero Barlow campaign team and a PDP Chieftain, Prince David Aboyowa Omaghomi said that Warri North has a great natural water channel and he is going to make sure they work with the Egbema people so as to bring development to the area.
