Reigning Miss NAIS, Comrade Blessing Tuoyo has commended the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP House of Representative aspirant, Mrs. Alero Ogbemi Barlow for being supportive toward the organization of the sensitization seminar on teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and Ebola Disease Virus.
Miss NAIS made the commendation at Koko during the Day-two of the seminar, even as she thanked pupils of Akuarajor Primary School, Ojomba Basic
School and their staff, Mercy Egwali, Charity Tom as well as the resource person and other participants for their contribution towards the success of the programme.
In the same vein, National President of NAIS, Comrade Augustine Leleji while commending the office of Miss NAIS in collaboration with AleroBarlow2015campaign team for organizing the seminar, described it as a huge success.
He ascribed the huge turnout in the seminar held in Koko to efforts made by the student association to mobilize people from neighbouring riverine communities such as Gbokoda, Abe-Ugborodo and Ogheye.
The resource person at the seminar, Mr. Efele Jones who gave a lecture on HIV/AIDS and Ebola, disclosed to Our Correspondent in a chat that the best way to avoid HIV is to have the acronym ABC of AIDS at heart. He explained the acronym to be: A-abstinence, B- be faithful to your partner and C- condom usage.

In the same vein, the former National President of NAIS, Comrade Akatakpo Omatseye, an indigene of Koko while confirming the warm reception during the seminar averred that the people were oriented about the importance of the seminar.
He advised Itsekiri students in general to educate and bring themselves together to understand the system in Warri Kingdom and impact on others what they lack via sensitization in order to move the Itsekiri nation forward.
The Director General of AleroBarlow2015campaign team, Prince David Aboyowa Omaghomi stated he was pleased with the turnout of participants at Koko even when the venue of the seminar was relocated from Gbokoda to Koko.

Prince David Omaghomi who was represented by his Senior Special Adviser, Engr. Bawo Besidone Odonghanro commended Miss NAIS for the laudable idea and thanked Mrs. Alero Barlow for keying into the programme and supporting it.
The 1st Assistant Secretary of National Council of Women Society, Mrs. Patience Ataine who spoke with Fresh Angle International disclosed that the organization’s aim is to build the girl child, expressing optimism that when you educate a woman, you educate the nation.
She advised women to preach against prostitution and other social vices pertaining to the girl child such as child abuse, hawking by young girls as well as child trafficking as it exposes them to teenage pregnancy.
