Ugborikoko Secondary School, Ugborikoko in Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, is poised to return to its past glory, as one of the most vibrant alumni of the school, ‘USSU Class 90’, has inaugurated an 11-man executive to pilot the affairs of the association, with a view to taking the school to greater heights.
Performing the swearing-in of the 11-man executive of USSU Class 90, Saturday December 11 at an event centre near the school in Ugborikoko, Interim Chairman of USSU Class 90, Austin Ese Oghojefa, congratulated the new executive and other classmates for their unity and cooperation, charging them to live up to expectation for the two years their tenure will last.

The newly sworn-in President, Comrade Kemi Mayaki, in her acceptance remarks, thanked the school teachers for their support and her Class 90 fellow students for making the union to hold its inaugural reunion after 31 years.
Mayaki, assured that going forward, they will strive to attract infrastructural development to the school, identify key areas to build upon, support neighbourhood and sponsor community extension outreach programmes.
She vowed that the USSU union under her leadership, with the support of the executive and members, shall enforce discipline of students at Ugborikoko Secondary School, in order to sanitize the school.
Dr. (Mrs.) Comfort Osiobe, who was a teacher to the ‘Class 90’ set and first form teacher to be seating with students in Ugborikoko Secondary School and counselling them, charged the group to remain committed to the growth of their alma mata.
Our Senior Correspondent, reports that some members of the association, who spoke during the occasion, promised to attract more infrastructural development to the school as well as support expelling of unruly behaved students.
They assured that they will encourage writing of external exams in the school and work towards the creation of enabling environment for students and teachers.
