Warri South Council Legislative Arm, has congratulated the chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, following the conclusion of his final examination in Bachelor of Laws, LLB programme, saying Dr. Tidi's latest academic acquisition, would further advance the seamless working relationship between the legislative and executive arms of the council.
Dr. Tidi, wrote his last academic paper in Bachelor of Laws yesterday at Benson Idahosa University, Edo State, precisely four years after obtaining a Ph.D in Energy Studies, With Specialization in Oil and Gas Economics, from University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Leader of Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Sylvester Ijabor in a statement released last night through Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi Awani, averred that the knowledge Dr. Tidi gained while studying law, " will not only add more teeth to his (Dr. Tidi) efficient administrative skill, but enable him make professional input to members of the legislative arm, whenever called upon. Because the task of implementing quality grassroots governance in Warri South Local Government Area, is collective."
Whilst assuring Dr. Tidi of continued support, the lawmakers stated that the Council Boss, has been a source of inspiration in the pursuit to attain excellence in service delivery.
