A Bureaucrat and Head of Personnel Management, Local Education Authority, LEA, Warri South Local Government in Delta State, Mr. G.J. Aganozor has admonished Public Servants to prepare for retirement in order to avoid challenges faced by some retirees from the State Civil and Public Service.

Mr. Aganozor gave the advice during a send-forth party organized for retired staff of Local Education Authority, Warri South Local Government and other staff of the LEA who were transferred to other government parastatals.

He described the event as a unique experience, stressing that if Civil Servants prepare for retirement, it will go a long way to help them and their families.

On his part, the Chairman of Staff Welfare, LEA Warri South Local Government, Dr. Innocent Ovie Ekewenu (KSM) enjoined Government at all levels to live up to their responsibilities, saying a situation where  Civil Servants retire without getting their benefits is frustrating and often times lead to untimely death.

Dr. Ekewenu advised the retirees to engage themselves in productive ventures so as to avoid unnecessary problems.
