El-Rufai appoints Yabuwat, District Head of Kajju Chiefdom


Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has approved the appointment of Mr. Luka Kogi Yabuwat as the Agwam Kajju, Kajju Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area in the state.

 

Fresh Angle International, understands that Mr. Yabuwat, succeeds His Highness, Malam Nuhu Bature, who died in December 2021.

 

According to the statement released this morning, Thursday December 1 by the Special Adviser to Governor El-Rufai on Media and Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye, the new Agwam Kajju, was until his appointment, the District Head of Ungwan Rimi in the Kajju Chiefdom.

 

Mr. Yabuwat, previously served as the District Head of Marsa in the same chiefdom.

 

Born in 1954, Mr. Yabuwat, is the third District Head to be appointed head of a traditional council in the appointments recently approved by the governor.

 

“He had a distinguished career in the public service, working in various parts of the country before retiring as a deputy superintendent of prisons.

 

“He holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria”, the statement, explained.
