A male Student of Ugbuwangue Basic Secondary School, Warri is feared dead, while three others of the same school as well as owner/driver of a Sienna LE Jeep with Reg. No. Delta AG 863 BMA are in critical condition following an accident that occurred at about 2:00PM on Thursday March 17 opposite Federal Government College, Ogunu Road, Warri, Fresh Angle International can exclusively report.
An eye witness who is a commercial tricycle driver told Our Correspondent that the Sienna LE Jeep owner lost control and rammed her car into the closed gate of a nearby Filling Station by the name Paul Evans Petroleum & Gas. A loose slab flung her car into the air with a student on top of her car bonnet. Report says the car landed on top of a pile of granites beside the Filling Station, leaving the unidentified student to fall off the car and landed awkwardly on the heap of the granite. Blood gushed out of his head and his body was said to be motionless.
The other three students were said to be unconscious as one of them, the only female student in the midst of the boys was said to have sustained minor scratches, even as sympathizers from the other lane came to rescue all five of the accident victims, including the female driver to an undisclosed hospital.
Our Correspondent gathered that apart from the scandals of the students at the scene of the accident, there was a notebook with the name Ottah Godstime, probably belonging to one of the students.
