Business

Following the passage of the 2016 appropriation bill by the Senate Wednesday March 23, a Chieftain of Peoples Democracy Party and one-time chairman of State Primary Education Board, SPEB, Chief Emmanuel Okumagba has called for caution, saying Nigerians should not expect so much from the President Mohammadu Buhari administration due to the mirage of problems it inherited.

Chief Okumagba an Urhobo leader in Warri South Local Government Area made the assertion Wednesday March 23 immediately the Senate passed the 2016 in an exclusive telephone chat with Our Correspondent.

According to him, now that the Senate has passed the 2016 budget, totaling over six trillion naira, Nigerians will be waiting to see if President Mohammadu Buhari can bring about the much anticipated change that his administration campaigned about.

He stated that he does not think that the Buhari administration can make a difference unless true federalism is practiced in the country.
