72hrs To Polls: IPAF backs Alvin Yalaju for Warri South Constituency II Seat

Exactly 72hrs to the Governorship/House of Assembly elections fixed for Saturday March 18, the Itsekiri Political Advancement Front, IPAF, has thrown its weight behind the Social Democratic Party, SDP Candidate for Warri South Constituency II Seat in Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Alvin Oritseweyinmi Yalaju, Fresh Angle International can report.

IPAF, in a statement made available to This Soaring Warri-Based International Tabloid, today, Wednesday March 15, explained that the decision was reached, “after critical appraisal of all the candidates contesting for Warri South Constituency II House of Assembly seat.”

In the statement which was signed by IPAF’s Director of Information and Strategy, Comrade BAwo Kelvin Okotie, the group, appealed to eligible voters in Warri South Constituency II to vote for Comrade Alvin Oritseweyinmi Yalaju, irrespective of their political parties’ affiliations, saying: “A Vote for SDP in Warri South Constituency II, is a vote for Purposeful leadership and Effective Representation.” 

The statement, noted in parts: “Mr. Yalaju Oritseweyinmi Alvin, was born in Warri, where he attended Nana Primary School and later Hussey College and Victory Academy International School, Warri for his Junior and Senior West Africa School Certificate (WAEC). While in school, he was an active member of Jet Club and Literary and Debating Society, where he served as a Zonal Secretary.

“He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology at the prestigious Madonna University, a course he is passionate about and went through the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC) where he served in Ogun State. Yalaju also possess a Master’s Degree in Public Health and Environmental Microbiology.

“We strongly believe in his CAPACITY and COMPETENCE with his youthfulness and experience that he will initiate bills that will attract development to Warri South Constituency II and Delta state as a whole. Above all, he is a UNIFIER and a man who understands the pains of the people, because he lives with them.

“Warri South Constituency II comprises of those residing in Pessu,  Igbudu, Iyara, Sido, Bazunu, Eboh, Ometan, Odibo, First to Third Marine Gates, Etuwewe Street, Okumagba Layout, McDermott, Essi Layout, DDPA Estate, Robinson Plaza, Deco Road and its adjourning areas.”
