Any student in the formal education onshore programme of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, who scores below 2.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average, CGPA, at the end of the 2023/2024 academic session, will lose his or her scholarship, Fresh Angle International has learned.
This much was contained in a circular issued from the Office of the Interim Administrator of PAP.
The circular, dated Thursday August 31, 2023 and signed by the Head of Reintegration Department of PAP, Mr Wilfred Musa, for the Interim Administrator of PAP, blamed the decision to review the minimum CGPA to 2.5 from the initial 1.5, " on the failure rate and poor performance of beneficiaries across board."
The notification with Ref : OIAPAP/ ND/ CR/ 2023/ 256, addressed to all PAP formal education sponsored students, was sighted on X ( Formerly called Twitter) by This Newspaper in the early hours of this morning, Friday September 1.
