Feelers from a very credible source has hinted Fresh Angle International that at -least three persons have been confirmed dead in the renewed boundary land dispute between Ogbe-Ijoh Community in Warri South -West Local Government Area and Aladja in Udu Local Government Area, both in Delta State.

It was also reliably gathered that three houses were yesterday, June 3 raised down at Aladja apart from the human casualty.

Sources say there were shooting between youths of both communities for no fewer than three days before yesterday's violence.

Fresh Angle International gathered that it was a reprisal attack from Ogbe-Ijoh youths, whose community had virtually been deserted since the last attack many weeks ago, that resulted in the killing of the three unidentified persons.

Both communities, one Urhobo and the other, jaw have been having age-long disagreement over ownership of a boundary land, with several committees set up to resolve the dispute.

Soldiers had long been stationed in the disputed area to forestall reoccurrence of the crisis which started afresh several weeks ago, even as it was learned that staffers of Warri South -West Council, Ogbe-Ijoh hardly go to work as a result of fear of possible break -down of law and order.

Fresh Angle International can also report that the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa today, June 4 summoned an emergency meeting at Asaba between the Chairmen of Udu and Warri South-West Local Government Areas as well as other critical stakeholders with a view to nipping the ethnic /communal crisis on the bud.
