Shola Mese Puts Smiles on the Faces of Widows, Students as He Celebrates 57th Birthday

As part of events marking his 57th birthday anniversary, the Founder of Shola Mese Foundation and CEO of Focus Guards Security Limited/FBI Security, Deacon Shola Mese, has put smiles on the faces of students and over two hundred widows in Warri, Delta State.

 

Our Senior Roving Correspondent, reports that the event took place at his residence in Effurun/Warri, Delta State, today, Thursday September 14.

 

 

Highlights of the birthday celebration;

 

Speaking at the event, Deacon Shola Mese, who said he enjoys celebrating with widows and aged, noted: “I can’t get tired celebrating with them annually, because it is my calling to work with widows and aged.

 

“If I celebrate with my friends, they may not appreciate it, but from the testimonies of these women today, you can see that we are all blessed.”

 

In her charge to the widows, Pastor Chichi Umeasiegbu of Foursquare Gospel Church, Edjeba-Warri, said: “A true believer is one who obeys the word of God and have a good character like Jesus.

“You need to obey God’s word in this end time, so that you will not miss eternity” 

 

She prayed for the widows, who shared their testimonies from the encounter of last year’s birthday celebration as well as the celebrant and his wife. 

 

Fresh Angle International, understands that the birthday celebration commenced with a visit to Hussey College Warri, where Deacon Shola Mese, donated books to the students, waste bins in strategic areas in the school, canopies to replace their dilapidated assembly hall as well as pledged to champion their Drug Free Club.

 

The other part of the ceremony continued with free medical services to the widows as well as distribution of wrappers and food items such as tubers of yam, garri, rice, beans, salt and onions.

The women also got cash gift for their transportation back home.

 

It was an emotional moment for most of the widows as they poured encomiums and prayers on Deacon Shola, “for always remembering and supporting widows on his birthday.” 

 

Mrs. Gloria Okechukwu, a beneficiary prayed God to continually bless Deacon Shola for his magnanimity towards widows.

Mrs. Beauty, a physically challenged woman, said: “I am here to celebrate good life with our daddy, who is always taking care of us, may God continue to care for him and his family.” 

 

Another beneficiary, Mrs. Ngozi Blessing, from Abia state, said: “This is my first time of coming here, since I came to Warri, he is doing a good thing, I pray God bless him”
