Oil and Gas Correspondent of Fresh Angle International, Josephine Ojevwe Ughweri is one of two Media Practitioners from Delta State sponsored by Oil and Gas Major, Chevron Nigeria Limited to attend the 2016 Advanced Writing and Reporting Skills, AWARES Programme of the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos State, Nigeria.
This year’s programme which comes up from July 18 through October 21, 2016 is expected to be attended by 30 Media Practitioners, cutting across print, electronic and online platforms.
Our Correspondent reports that two participants, Dennis Otu, a renowned Journalist and Fresh Angle International’s Celestine Ukah were the only two participants among the 28 that participated in AWARES 2015.

The Programme “focuses not only on improving writing skills, but also on proficiency in research and critical thinking”. Upon successful completion, participants “will be admitted into the Alumni Association of the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University in November 2016”.
Josephine Ughweri who was engaged as Confidential Secretary/Librarian of Fresh Angle International before her promotion to the position of Oil and Gas Correspondent over three years ago, thanked Chevron Nigeria Limited for the privilege and assured that she will make the best use of the opportunity to enhance her reportorial skill.
In a Statement, Editor-In-Chief of Fresh Angle International, Ebule Anthony Metsese, expressed gratitude to the Management of Chevron Nigeria for sponsoring Celestine Ukah and Josephine Ughweri in the 2015 and 2016 AWARES Programme, promising that his medium will continue to partner Chevron in the company’s determined drive to develop communities within its areas of operation and improve educational as well as health programmes across Nigeria despite the security challenges faced by the company.
