Your loyalty is to the Olu, not any political party, Chief Pessu charges ‘Unity INYC’

The Chairman of Warri Traditional Council, Chief Yahaya Pessu has admonished the Esimaje Awani reaffirmed Presidency of Itsekiri National Youth Council, INYC and members of his newly co-opted executive to be loyal to The Olu of Warri only and not any political party or politician.

Chief Pessu who is also The Ojomo of Warri, handed down the advice in an exclusive chat with Fresh Angle International on Saturday July 30 at The Olu Palace, Warri,  and cautioned the harmonized INYC executive whose mandate at "first instance", terminates June 2018 to avoid acts capable of causing a breakdown of law and order.

He enjoined the INYC President, Comrade Esimaje Awani and members of his executive to accommodate other Itsekiri youths in their determination to move Itsekiri Nation to greater heights.

The harmonized 12-man executive was sworn-in Friday July 29 by The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli at the Olu Palace, Warri, with a mandate to reposition INYC for maximum efficiency and performance.
