Okowa’s Aides resolve to propagate State government’s strides to grassroots

Forum of Senior Special Assistant (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Development has pledged to ensure that adequate sensitization of Deltans on the developmental strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in the last one year was extended to the grassroots.

The SSA to the Governor on Youth development, Comrade Hope George made the pledge in Asaba when addressing the press after the general meeting of members of the forum.

Comrade George said the governor has been able to use the lean resources accruing to the state to embark on both human and infrastructural development and assured him of the support of Deltans in driving the SMART agenda to the advantage of all.

He commended youths in the state for keying into the entrepreneurial programmes that had helped to raise small and medium scale agriculturists and industrialists and appealed to those yet to be engaged to also avail themselves of the next batch.

Comrade George on behalf of the forum condoled with the Ibru's family and the people of Delta State over the demise of the first Executive Governor of Delta State Olorogun Felix Ibru and promised to participate in the activities of the burial ceremony.

The forum also condoled with the family of the Nigerian football legend Mr. Stephen Keshi, Deltans, Nigerians, Africans and the football community globally on his death and urged Federal and State governments to immortalize him.

The Governor's aides commended the Governor on his efforts in moving the State forward.

They thank Deltans for their support to Governor Okowa's led administration and assured them of better days ahead.
