A popular Warri-based Cleric, Rev. Emiko Fregene, has thanked the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, “for fostering peace and inaugurating the 15-man Caretaker Committee that will pilot the affairs of the community (Bateren) for 2 years.”

 

Fresh Angle International can report that Rev. Emiko, commended the Warri Monarch in a goodwill message released Tuesday October 10, to felicitate with the Newly Inaugurated Caretaker Committee for Omateye Family Organization of Bateren.

 

The Cleric, stated inter-alia: “I, Rev. Emiko Fregene, thank the Olu of Warri ( CFR) Ogiame Atuwatse III for fostering peace and inaugurating the 15 man caretaker committee that will pilot the affairs of the community for 2 years, starting from October 2023, to be headed by the renowned academia, Dr Peter Etchie and Friday Etuwewe as Secretary.

“I also appreciate members of the peace committee constituted by our amiable Monarch of Warri kingdom.  The peace committee was headed by our former regent, Emma Okotie- Eboh, a legal luminary, Ama Etuwewe (SAN) Justice Edun and Barr. Rex Ireyefoju, among others, for coming out with such a list that cuts across members of every family.”

 

Rev. Emiko, charged members of the new caretaker committee of Omateye Family Organization of Bateren, to use the 2-year time frame to put in place a working constitution within 3 months and draw out a developmental plan, that will move the community forward, saying he has. “no doubt that the chairman and secretary of the committee, will do a great job by providing good leadership for the team to articulate and achieve its mandate.”
