The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III


      Leaders of Ifiekporo Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, have written the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, notifying him of the reinstatement of Mr. Special Bawo Agbeyi and Mr. Endurance Odonghano Bomele as Chairman and Public Relations Officer, PRO of Ifiekporo Youth Body, saying they were misled, “into taking wrong resolutions in the community meeting of 7th March, 2024.”

 

 

In the letter dated March 11, 2024 and made available to Fresh Angle International, Tuesday March 12, the Ifiekporo leaders, noted: “After thorough investigation, the community discovered that some persons had under the veil of the palace to deceive the elders of the community to take wrong decisions in order to undo their perceived enemies in the community.”

 

Below is the Letter written to the Olu of Warri;

 

 

 

 

The letter which was signed by the Trust Chairman and General Secretary of Ifiekporo Community, Messrs. Peter Ede and Myke Ogi, respectively, with the title; ‘Re: Resolution Of Ifiekporo Community Against Enemies of Baba and Warri Kingdom’, averred in parts: “In view of the following and in tandem with fundamental moral principles, social justice, equity, fair play and good conscience, we wish to inform your Majesty that Ifiekporo community from all walks of life met again at Prince Ejoki Ikenghuwa Hall, Ifiekporo on the 11th of March 2024 and after thorough deliberation resolved as follows;

 

“That Ifiekporo community's resolution of 7th March, 2024 be recalled.

That Mr. Special Bawo Agbeyi be and is hereby reinstated as the youth chairman of Ifiekporo community.

 

“That Mr. Endurance Odonghano Bomele be and is hereby reinstated as the youth PRO of Ifiekporo community.

 

That the community never issued any order of banishment on anybody in the community

 

“That whoever is going about to threaten or make life threatening statements physically or on social media against anyone is absolutely on his own.

 

“Moreso, we resolved unequivocally that Ifiekporo community is under the over lordship of the Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri

 

“Be assured of our maximum loyalty as always, your Majesty.”

Fresh Angle International can report in the letter addressed to the Warri Monarch, the Ifiekporo leaders copied; Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC, Matrix Energy Ltd,, AYM Shafa Ltd, Pinnacle Oil and Gas, Keonamex Petroleum Ltd, A&E Petrol, Parker Oil and Gas, Salbas Oil and Gas, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Area Commander's office, Warri and The D.P.O ‘A’ Division, Warri.

 

This Newspaper understands that Pa Domino Micheal, Dele Nami, Francis Eyifoma, Fredrick Eyiangho, Felix Mogbeyiteren and Mrs. Bawo Eyisan, Woman Elder, were among Ifiekporo Community leaders that gathered at Prince Ejoki Ikenghuwa Hall in Ifiekporo, yesterday, March 11, when the resolution was reached.
