Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, has urged the 20 new Councilors of Ughelli North Council Legislative Arm, to be upright and dedicated at all times, to the task they were voted for, just as Hon. Ajero Okeoghene Prosper, emerged Leader of the 8th Assembly of Ughelli North Local Government Council.
Fresh Angle International, can report that Barr Egbo, gave the charge Wednesday July 17, at the Ughelli North Secretariat, during the inauguration of the 8th Assembly of Assembly of Ughelli North Local Government Council.
Barr. Egbo, who noted that the mandate of the people rest on their shoulders, hence should never betrayed, advised the Councilors not to allow pride, greed and selfishness becloud their call to service.
He charged the local government lawmakers to be good ambassadors of the PDP in their various wards, by enforcing the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sherif Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori.
Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, reports that administering of Oath of Allegiance to the Councilors as well as signing of the Oath, highlighted the colourful ceremony, which was attended by leaders of the PDP and other critical leaders of Ughelli North Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, Hon. Ediruo Florence, Hon. Ese Simon Agbobore and Hon. Orido December, were elected Deputy Leader, Majority Leader and Deputy Majority Leader, respectively, during the first plenary of 8th Assembly of Ughelli North Local Government Council.
