Warri South Local Government Council on Friday September 27, began extraction of personal data from traders of artwork by the perimeter fence of Federal Government College, Ogunu Road in Warri.

Fresh Angle International can report that the exercise is geared towards unearthing persons allegedly responsible for emptying acid on major roads in the oil city of Warri.

Recall that Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads) Comrade Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze, had on Friday September 20, flagged off the ‘Operation Zero Tolerance to Potholes and proper marking of roads in Warri South’, launched by the Comr. Weyinmi Agbateyiniro administration of Warri South Local Government Area.

The Head, Sub. Committee on Waste Management & Illegal Packing of Vehicles, Warri Brand Committee, Comr. Destiny Noritsegho, who acted on the instruction of the Chairman of Warri South Local Government, earlier today, engaged traders of artwork by the perimeter fence of Federal Government College, Warri, to inform them of intelligence available to the Warri South Council Boss, that some persons were jeopardizing the ‘operation zero tolerance for potholes’ in the Council area, by allegedly pouring acid on some roads.

Comr. Noritsegho, warned “If any destruction happens to the road being rehabilitated, you guys (referring to traders) would be called upon. We might create alternative place for you people to do your business.”

The traders, led by their leader, Ogbonna Chukwuoyi, expressed their willingness to send their data to the Council authority and absolved themselves of being responsible for purportedly pouring acid on the road.

Chukwuoyi, said they love the ‘operation zero tolerance to potholes and marking of roads’ being executed by the Comr. Agbateyiniro administration.
