Warri: Ex - Legislative Aide to Reyenieju, Ofuyaekpone joins APC, says PDP has failed youths

Former Legislative Assistant and ex - Personal Assistant to Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, Comrade Tuoyo Ofuyaekpone, on Friday January 31, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress, APC.                                                 

Comrade Ofuyaekpone, who's a grassroots mobiliser and fashion designer, said the PDP has failed youths " as the party has blocked every avenue for the youths to contribute to governance."

Fresh Angle International can report that Comrade Ofuyaekpone, spoke at Ugbuwangue while addressing a gathering of APC leaders in Warri South Local Government Area.                                  

According to him, the only youths recognised by PDP are children of ex - governors, Senators and ministers " as exemplified in the Delta State Executive Council."                                         

Whilst accusing the PDP of " plethora of ghost projects in and around Warri" he alleged" there is no inclusiveness in the PDP. " 

PDP has failed my community, flood has continued to ravage the twin town of Ekurede and Ugbori. Warri deserves better, PDP has failed to restore Warri to her glory days."                                 

Ofuyaekpone, asserted:" APC has shown that they are a political party of progressive ideas, changing the suffering of the people with economic recovery policies and actions, that are people - centred."                                         

The APC chairman of Ekurede Itsekiri and Ugbuwangue Ward, Mr. Daniel Oyibo, reportedly introduced Comrade Ofuyaekpone and other decampees to the party leadership.

Chairman of All Progressives Congress in Warri South Local Government Area, Mr. Mario Owumi, urged the decampees to feel free in the party, saying " APC is the largest political party in Africa."                                               

Former Councillor in Warri South Legislative Arm and Legislative Aide to Senator Joel Onowakpo - Thomas, Hon. Kingsley Tenumah, reportedly stated" having Tuoyo in the APC, is a big political harvest."
