Wife of Delta State Governor, Deaconess (Mrs.) Tobore Oborevwori, has told inmates of Catholic Old People’s Home in Warri, that they remain pillars in ‘our community’, saying their wisdom and experiences have shaped Delta State.

The Governor’s Spouse, made the pronouncement at the Catholic Old People’s Home in Warri, Delta State, Wednesday February 5, during the celebration of her 55th birth anniversary.

Deaconess Oborevwori, who was represented by the First Lady of Warri South Local Government Area, Mrs. Roli Agbateyiniro, asserted: “In 2024, I made a promise to always celebrate my birthday with you, and in keeping with that promise, I have come to share the joy of this beautiful day. As a token of my appreciation to God and my love for you-my parents-I have provided essential items and brought free medical care for your wellbeing.

“Your strength and resilience inspire me everyday and I am committed to supporting your welfare in every way I can. You remain the pillars of our community, and your wisdom and experiences have shaped Delta State.

“Thank you for being an integral part of our lives and for allowing me, to celebrate this special day with you. Let us celebrate this day with joy and continue to show love and kindness to one another.”

Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli, in her opening remarks, described Deaconess Oborevwori, as a remarkable woman, a mother and a source of inspiration to all.

While stating that the First Lady is a woman, whose kindness knows no bound, Mrs. Omatsuli, added: “She's a lover of everyone, irrespective of your status in the society.”

Fresh Angle International, can report that Mrs. Oborevwori, gifted cartons of tomato paste, bags of rice, tubers of yam, gallons of palm oil and vegetable oil, bag of beans, salt, detergent, garri and sugar as well as seasoning cubes and tablet soap to the aged mothers and fathers.

There was also free Medicare for the inmates, even as the First Lady received prayers from the elderlies and the Priest in-Charge of Catholic Old People’s Home, Warri, Very Rev. (Dr.) Benedict Ukutegbe.
