The Delta State Deputy Commander of Man ‘O’ War, Ogboru Henry, says school principals are resisting establishment of Man ‘O’ War in secondary schools, “after obtaining a letter of approval from the Commissioner of Education to establish Man'O'war in all schools in Delta.”
Fresh Angle International’s Vivian Pori, reports that Ogboru, made the disclosure at Edjeba Secondary School, Warri, Sunday June 22, when Man ‘O’ War hosted the leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter.

Whilst noting that the visit of Comr. Destiny Noritsegho leadership of NYCN, Warri South Chapter, was the first visit of NYCN executive to Man'O'war, Ogboru, expressed optimism that the parley would be the beginning of good things to come for the two organizations.
He solicited the inclusion of Man ‘O’ War, in NYCN, “because it is the umbrella body of all youths in Nigeria” and promised to work with the Comr. Noritsegho’s leadership of NYCN.
The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Warri South Chapter, Comr. Destiny Noritsegho, described Man'O'war as one of the most organized organizations amongst youth bodies.

According to Comr. Noritsegho, Man'O'war ensures that every boy grows into a responsible young man, saying Man'O'war should not ignore its role of engaging young people to keep them off drugs and other vices.
He encouraged Man'O'war to bring back the fire and the glory, adding that NYCN is interested in bringing five (5) organizations back to schools in Warri South and help with uniforms, provided the organizations do their part.
Comr. Noritsegho, stated that his leadership of NYCN will be marking 100 days in office come July 5, reiterating his resolve to create database of youths in all communities across Warri South Local Government Area.

In a related development, the NYCN Chairman, has admonished Royal Rangers of Assemblies of God Church, Effurun, to uphold dignity, saying if they uphold dignity now, they would uphold it when they get to higher positions like Governor and Senator.
The Deputy Commander, Royal Rangers, David Ochonogor, who spoke on behalf of the body, appreciated the leadership of NYCN for the visit.
