Leaders of the oil-rich Omadino Community in Warri South Local Government Area, have assured Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, that they are committed to provide all necessary support for the smooth and peaceful commencement of Omadino campus of Federal Polytechnic, Orogun.
They expressed optimism that the upgrading/conversion of Omadino Model Technical College to a campus of the Federal Polytechnic Orogun, would not only transform Omadino community and its environs, but create multiple jobs for Deltans.
The Olare-Aja (head) of Omadino Community, Pa. Godfrey Oruru Edemadiden, Chairman, Omadino Management Committee, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren, Secretary, Council of Elders, Chief Sunny Yomere and the Youth President, Mr. Joshua Ghereje, gave the assurance in a statement to appreciate Governor Oborevwori, “for releasing the Omadino Model Technical College to the Federal Ministry of Education” for take-off of Omadino campus of the Federal Polytechnic Orogun.
The Delta State Ministry of Technical Education, in a widely circulated circular dated Tuesday August 18, 2026, notified the Principal of Model Technical College, Omadino, of Governor Oborevwori’s approval for the conversion of Model Technical College, Omadino to Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Omadino campus.
