A Non-Govermental Organization, Shola Mese Foundation says her decision to empower hundreds of underprivileged women from different parts of Delta State with financial aids and wrappers is as a result of the passion to serve humanity.
President of the foundation, Shola Mese gave the explanation Wednessday September 6 at Ubeji Community in Warri South Local Government Area while distributing the financial aids and wrappers in commemoration of the 2017 World Charity Day.
He charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the largesse in order to better the lot of their families.
While calling on youths to shun drug abuse and crime, Mese blamed lack of care by parents as the major cause of drug abuse as well as increase in crime rate in the society.

The NGO also enjoined youths interested in acquiring skills in areas such as catering and tailoring to register with her, saying it is part of effort to curb drug abuse.
