The Olare-Aja of Omadino in Warri South Local Government Area, Pa Victor Ewomeiwaraghan Esu and members of the community council of elders, have disowned Omasan Edukugho and his brother, Buge Edukugho, saying they lack the legitimacy to address themselves as chairman and secretary of Omadino Community Elders' Council.
The Omadino Elders' Council in a press statement signed by the Olare-Aja, Pa. Victor Esu, enjoined corporate bodies, government parastatals and members of the general public to disregard the Vanguard Newspaper report of Tuesday June 12 with the headline, "Omadino Council of Elders inaugurates (sic) new OEDA Executives (sic)", adding that it was meant to "mislead and equally decieve the public ".
While noting that the controversial report didn't mention the names of the "non-existing executive of Omadino Employment and Development Association, OEDA, nor where and when the so called inauguration held ", the community council of elders, asserted, "the authentic new executive of OEDA as widely reported was done at Omadino Community Town Hall,June 8 and witnessed by security agencies, representatives of Warri South Local Government Council, Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Development as well as representatives of corporate bodies ".
They stressed that members of the "authentic new 9-member Omadino OEDA executive include :Francis Niro Omaro-President, Omatsola Pemu-Vice President, Isaac Ukponu-Secretary and Jim Temienor-Treasurer.
