Pan Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze-Ndigbo in Delta South and Central Senatorial Districts has elected a new President, Chief Mike Nnajiofor Michael, Fresh Angle International can report.
Chief Mike Nnajiofor Michael who is from Ebonyi State is to pilot the affairs of the apex Igbo body for the next four years in the two Delta State Districts, which does not include the Aniomas.
It would be recalled that there was leadership tussle in the association before it was resolved by Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Non-Indigenes’ Affairs, Nze Francis Onuora and other stakeholders.
Special Adviser to Governor Okowa on Peace and Conflict Resolution, Chief Edwin Uzor, who spoke immediately after the election, noted that the administration of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa believes in Peace and Social Stability as encapsulated in the SMART agenda.

He enjoined Igbos in Delta State to remain united in order to enjoy dividends from the state government.
Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Non-Indigenes’ Affairs, Nze Onuora admonished the new president to carry everyone along in building Ohanaeze-Ndigbo in the districts.
Speaking Sunday June 17 shortly after his confirmation by the General Assembly at Governor’s Office Annex, Warri, Chief Eze Nnajiofor Michael thanked Delta State Government, members of Ohanaeze Delta South and Central over his emergence and assured of qualitative leadership from his executive.
Others who spoke at the event were: Executive Assistant, Political to Governor Okowa, Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana and Chief V.C Ezejelue.
