Controversy is brewing in Lagos State over the death of an estranged housewife whose throat was slit with a knife from inside her kitchen.
Our Sub Editor who sent in the story from Lagos reports that the deceased who moved out of her matrimonial home with her 2-year old daughter as a result of discovery that her husband, Isaac Ajisegiri was allegedly having an affair with one of their female employees was killed at their home in the Shasha area of Lagos and her corpse taken to the mortuary.
It was gathered that endurance and Isaac were married for four years and had one child together. They also ran a business together, an education consulting firm before they separated some time last year as a result of alleged unfaithfulness on the part of Isaac.
Trouble started on Saturday April 13 when Isaac’s friend, a guy named Stanley came to pick Endurance from her office, saying that her in-laws (mother-in-law and sister-in-law) were waiting for her at her husband’s house and wanted to resolve some issues with her. Endurance went with Stanley. The following day, her corpse was deposit at Crystall Hospital by Isaac.
Isaac told the police that Endurance killed herself with the knife after a serious argument. Isaac, his mother and sister (who slept in the house that night) are now in police custody and Stanley is nowhere to be found.
Fresh Angle gathered that the case is being handled by the homicide unit of the Lagos State criminal investigation department.
