Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International, say one person who was hit by a car while scampering for safety on hearing gunshots, is believed to have died, while couple of others are reportedly injured at Abraka, the country -home of Delta State APC Governorship Candidate.
They were injured by political thugs.
The thugs loyal to one of the political parties in today's Governorship / House of Assembly elections, allegedly invaded polling units at Ekerejeta, Abraka and injured many people, even as the person feared dead suffered the casualty at Campus 1 Gate of Delta State University, Abraka.
The thugs reportedly succeeded in snatching ballot boxes with thumb printed ballot papers, just as shooting was ongoing at Campus 1 Gate as at 4pm when this report was filed.
