A Lawyer and a staff with the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, Dr. Theresa Okenabirhie recently obtained a Doctorate in Philosophy, PhD in International Law from the Center of Energy, Petroleum, Mining law and Policy of the University of Dundee, Scotland.
Okenabirhie research thesis is on how Coastal States can regulate the areas of the high seas where crude oil stolen from Nigeria is illegally transhipped and sold.
Our Energy Correspondent, National, reports that the research is a welcome development, as it proffers solutions to one of the major problems affecting Nigeria today.
